Customer profile: Customer is a leading manufacturer of Electrical insulating varnishes and other insulating resins with 2 plants in India backed up with collaboration.

The challenge: Customer had one 20 KVA local reputed make UPS system with SCR rectifier and tuned harmonic filter. Electrical energy audit had pointed out poor efficiency of UPS installation along with considerable THD i. The existing UPS was tripping due to "Overload" and on top of this customer wanted to add few more servers. The estimate given to us was 20KVA (Existing Load) + 10 KVA (Proposed Load) + (10KVA redundancy). Customer wanted multiple server shutdown SNMP support along with programming facility for this support.

The solution: We offered 40 KVA Power+ with N + 1 configuration. As regards multiple server shutdown SNMP support, customer was made to talk to Gamatronic directly. Customer was totally satisfied about software support and the product and then placed the order.

Key benefits: Space saving, we could accommodate Power+ in 1/3 space as compared to any other smallest UPS. Power factor correction and THD i reduction was offered to their satisfaction without any external filter.

The astonishing fact was after connecting additional load the total load displayed has not crossed 14KVA till date as against overloading of their earlier 20KVA without connecting additional load. Thanks to "Gamatronic 6:1 crest factor" - we believe.

Solution profile: High end network communicating UPS was given to customer with Space saving advantage. Green power input conditions with expandability was also major attraction. After convincing these features we could get sensible price.
